Our Early Years Pre-School has two separate learning environments, both indoor and outdoor, to cater for the specific requirements of our various age groups.

Both our Babies Centre playground, and our larger main playground, have ample space for the children to engage in experiences incorporating the natural environment within their play. Our garden has spaces for children to dig in a mudpit during the warmer months, sit on natural rocks and logs for tea parties, and splash in puddles during Gumboot Days! Other parts of our garden have flowers and herbs which the children help us to tend with water from our water tank and compost from our Worm Farm. With a perfect blend of both sunny and shaded areas, our environments have something to offer each child during their time outdoors. Whether they choose to explore the sensory experience of the sandpit, test their gross motor skills through our carefully planned obstacle course, or have some quiet time in our Reading Area, your child will continue their play based learning during their outdoor time at Pinjarra.
